I have been working all week in the nursery and things are waking up nicely.  It is so delightful to see the signs of spring.

Right now the bluebells are up, leafed out and close to budding.  Trout lilies are blooming, The Foam flower is in full bloom and just stunning!  Columbine is flowering in all it's glory.  We have both straight species columbine looking good and 'little lanterns'.

LWC Sale:  Coming up on April 1st, we will be at Morven Park for the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy Native Plant Sale.  I encourage you to PRE-ORDER.  I DO have milkweed.  The tubarosa is just breaking the soil, but the common and swamp are both still dormant.  If you want a dormant plant(common or swamp milkweed), PLEASE PRE-ORDER.  I will only bring those plants if people pre-order them.

We will also be bringing some plugs to this sale.  You can purchase 4 plugs for $10.  Varieties include:

  • Lobelia cardinalis

  • Lobelia siphlitica

  • Monarda didyma 'Jacob Cline'
